From the Preface:

History of Chiropractic Philosophy: Spiritual Writings

The following quotations were written by B.J. Palmer (1881-1961), by his own account, the second chiropractor. These writings represent a distinct period of his life, from 1949-1961. During that time Palmer published fifteen books totaling 8045 pages.

The emphasis of this text is on Palmer's "spiritual writings." Thus, anything that relates to either his spirituality, or extends from his direct spiritual insights into other topics such as chiropractic, vertebral subluxation, religion, enlightenment, death and divinity is included, when appropriate.

I have chosen what I think to be the crest jewels of the "Green Books." I present this material with no apologies. B.J. Palmer was at times prophetic, and sometimes abrasive. His insights, although written fifty years ago, will be revolutionary for many people.

This volume shows a consistency in his spiritual writings that has never been presented in such a fashion. My hope is that the reader will enjoy them as I have.
